Hailing from Southend in Essex, Hillmisters have been together making catchy country tinged, indie music for 3 years. Based around the song writing of Matt Randal, Tim Keech and Lee Hall, reviews from their live shows have drawn comparisons from Pavement to Television, Love to The Flaming Lips and The Go Betweens. They recorded these songs at John Hannon’s No Recording Studio. Three of the Hillmisters are from the mercurial Beatglider who have previously recorded in LA with top producer Tom Rothrock (Beck), and have an album out this year on Resonant Records. Hillmisters make sporadic live appearances but always maintain a loyal following at their up beat, psyched out shows.
